Wouldn’t you love something for free?  Of course, who wouldn’t?  Getting free products may seem like a dream, but it isn’t.  Craiglist.org is an online classified website.  It is designed to connect local buyers and sellers, but, in some cases, there is no actual selling involved.  Not all Americans use Craigslist to make money.  Some use it to simply organize and de-clutter their homes.  These individuals just want to get rid of their unwanted belongings.  Instead of selling them, they list them for free.

You now know that free stuff is regularly listed on Craigslist, but how can you find it?

The “traditional” way to search for free things on the website is to visit the main page.  From there, select your state and the nearest city.  This is great, but you limit yourself.  Craigslist is city based, meaning you end up searching for free products in your immediate area only.  Why limit yourself?  You can find lots of stuff for free.  If you are a new parent, a baby crib could easily cost $100 to $200.  What if a seller 3 hours away is offering a like-new crib for free?  Are you really willing to turn that offer down?  No.

Unfortunately, searching outside of your nearest city is a time consuming process.  Since you are only able to search individual city pages, you must visit each city page and perform individual searches on each.  Say there are 10 cities and surrounding areas that you are willing to travel to.  It could take hours or even days.  Since time is money, you aren’t necessarily getting a product for free anymore.  That is unless you have the free Craigslist Reader, available at MotionT.com.

What is the Craigslist Reader?  It is a free software program that enables users to perform multi-city searches on Craigslist.  What took hours or days before, now takes minutes.  In addition to now having the ability to search multiple cities at once, a feature currently unavailable on the website, you can receive email alerts too.  Free items go quick, but with constant updates, you can stay on top of the best free deals, ensuring you are the first to scoop up the offer.
